How does the Tapas and Wine Tour work? 

The Tapas and Wine Tour is based around the center of Barcelona and was created in order to share the city's cuisine and wine with visitors to the Catalan capital.  Your expert guide will be able to show you not just the most attractive places in the city center but will also tell you about the local customs, traditions, the differences between Catalan and Spanish wines, the different types of tapas and much more.  The Tour starts at 17:00 in one of the most famous streets in Barcelona, La Rambla.  From here, you will carry on towards La Boquería, the city's famous food market and finally, to the Gothic Quarter where you can admire the stunning architecture, the vibrant atmosphere, the local cuisine and some of the historic food shops which have been plying their trade for more than 100 years.  Let yourself be enticed by the typical flavors of Catalonia as you sample local cheeses, sausages, tapas, wine, cider and much more.  This will be an opportunity to experience the city in a completely unique and fun way.

1. Around 3 hours, the tour is carried out by a specialist English speaking guide who will lead you on a voyage of discovery of Barcelona. 
2. A tasting of 3 typical local products, (from a choice of cheeses, sausages, olive oil and other items) which are always accompanied by some bread and a drink. 
3. A selection of 8 hot and cold tapas to choose from 
4. 2 drinks to choose from including wine, Cava, beer, cider and other options. 

How can I book? 

In order to make a booking for the Tour, all you have to do is to complete the form you can find on this web page.  Choose the date (on a Monday or Saturday), indicate the number of people who wish to join the tour and effect your payment either by credit card or via PayPal.  You will immediately receive an email confirmation with all the details of the tour. 

Prices and timings 

The tour is available each Monday and Saturday of the month, excluding public holidays.  The cost per adult is €74.00 and children up to the age of 7 are included free of charge but their drinks are not included in the price.
