How the Tour of Park Güell + the Sagrada Familia works

The tour includes entry to both attractions together with a guided tour.  In addition to this, the transfer from Park Güell to the Sagrada Familia is also included. The visit to the park will take place in the morning and will last for approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.  The visit to Barcelona's most famous church will start in the afternoon and lasts for around 1 hour and 30 minutes.   Visiting the church's towers is not included in the tour, but if you wish to do this, you can also book a tour that specifically includes this at Barcellona.shop. Detailed information about the day's excursion will be sent to you by email once the booking has been made via the simple form that you will find on this web page: where to meet, timings, recommendations and additional information.  One piece of advice is to wear comfortable clothing and shoes.  With regard to the visits themselves, these are shared tours or may be formed of a group whose participants prefer the use of two languages.  The tours are available in English and you should be careful when making your reservation to book the bilingual tour that applies to you.  Your bilingual guide is a professional who is used to dealing with a wide range of tourists and will be patient and extremely competent.....they will be happy to answer any questions you may have and even more delighted to share with you the many secrets of these two architectural masterpieces of Gaudí.

Park Güell

Nature is fused with the architecture of this incredible park in a sinuous and complementary fashion. The bright whites, the delight that emanates from the irregular mosaics, the uniquely shaped houses, the terraces and the columns are excellent examples of how beauty can also be functional. Park Güell watches over Barcelona from on high and the views across the city towards the stunning blue sea and the city are utterly breathtaking.  Find out more about the history of the park by reading the article that focuses on Park Güell; if you would prefer to visit the park and/or the Holy Family at a different time, you can check the schedules for visits to Park Güell without the transport that is organized to take visitors to the basilica.  You will still be able to rely on a private guide from Barcellona.shop and can ask them to accompany you around Gaudí's park at a time that is more convenient for you.

The Sagrada Familia

The church of the Holy Family was Gaudí's obsession, the project to which he dedicated his heart and soul, right up until his unexpected death.  His genius created an extraordinarily elaborate design which was also perfect at the same time and today, the construction work which started in 1882, is still unfinished.  Those who are able to admire the building without the cranes that surround it, will be really lucky, although now it almost seems that they are part of this iconic building.  In any event, visiting the cathedral, both inside and out, is more or less obligatory when visiting Barcelona.  Find out more about the history of Barcelona's most famous basilica by reading the article that is dedicated to the Sagrada Familia; if you would prefer your visit at a different time and / or have already seen Park Güell, you can just check the timetables for visits to the Sagrada Familia, and also those that include the church's iconic Towers. You can also rely on an expert private guide from Barcellona.shop and can request that they accompany you to this fascinating church at a time that's more convenient for you.
